Stone Island and New Balance link up once again, this time incorporating the Italian brand’s aesthetics on the new MADE in UK 991v2 silhouette. Although the beginnings of an entirely new era, the New Balance 991v2 doesn’t stray all too far from its roots. Alongside boasting the MADE in UK construction we’ve come to expect from the sneaker, the model features a very familiar, albeit slightly tweaked shape.

The Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 is crafted with an olive green, gray and black color palette and made with a mesh upper inspired by latticed metal and overlaid with nubuck. Grey, then, dresses not only the sole unit but also the “N” logo and the Stone Island patch affixed to the tongue. New Balance’s ABZORB window in the forefoot below the heel remain in place while the brand’s FuelCell midsole is employed to deliver cozy all-day wear. A contrasting gray lining adds the finishing touches along with a woven Stone Island patch on the tongue and translucent outsole.
