The actual “Del Sol” Kobe 6 Protro is the black-based colorway, which basically acts an “Away” component to these. Although Nike and the Kobe Bryant estate have yet to announce a new deal since its expiration in April, it’s clear that there will still be some Kobe sneaker releases on the release slate. In addition to this pair, there’s also PJ Tucker’s recently revealed PE as well as the special edition made for the 2021 EYBL circuit that may potentially release somewhere down the line.
This Originally released in 2011, this offering of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro comes dressed in a White, Neutral Grey, Del Sol, and Black color scheme. The shoe will look exactly like the original release.
This reissue also features design updates like refreshed tooling and a sleeker shape. The sneaker’s white and grey upper consists of polyurethane ‘islands’ with a scaly texture, while the rubber outsole has a snakeskin-inspired traction pattern to create maximum grip.
