Description
The late Keith Hufnagel never did anything by half measures. As a professional skater, he left it all out on the pavement — and in the streetwear business, he built everything from scratch. His eponymous store and later label, HUF, was founded back in 2002, and quickly became a hotspot for rare sneakers and clothing by Supreme and other boutique fashion houses, and also art by other skateboarders and artists.
Paying homage to Keith’s adopted city of SF, the sneaker features a white pebbled leather upper with black pebbled leather overlays throughout. Its mid-panel is also removable, revealing a vivid black-on-orange tie-dye underneath. In addition, the embroidered nod to the late Keith Hufnagel is additionally present, spelling out “KEITH FOREVER” simply over the hightop of the San Francisco skyline. Similar to its “NYC” counterpart, the “San Francisco” version of the SB Dunk Low is packed with details. On the surface, the trendy leather top utilises white as its base, whilst black hits the overlays and trim.
Lastly, we can discover a hidden tie-dye in orange and white. Though generally comprised of neutrals, the colourway shows a trace of orange alongside the side of each panel. “San Francisco” writing and HUF branding finish the layout through the tongue label and toe box, respectively.
