The Air Jordan 3 “Racer Blue” is expected to take on similar design cues as the fragment design x Air Jordan 3, which appeared on the feet of lauded Japanese streetwear god Hiroshi Fujiwara back in April 2019. In terms of color blocking, the silhouette will include white leather uppers, a black elephant print, and blue accents throughout.
Accompanied by a matching shoebox, the shoe features a tumbled leather upper accented by 3M reflective elephant print, smooth white leather and perforated hits of blue and gray. The blue contrast is continued on the eyelets and branding, while gray sockliners, printed insoles and white/blue Air-assisted midsoles with gray rubber outsoles round up the design of the shoe.
The Air Jordan 3 originally released in a True Blue color in 1988 and a few retros since, but has only had a similar shade with the Sport Royal colorway.
